Sowing and harvesting of maize in the area surrounding Almadenes, Cieza

The cultivation and harvest of maize in the area around Almadenes, Cieza (Murcia), involved a series of processes marked by the characteristics of the land and by the farming families that inhabited this Ciezan enclave throughout the 20th century. Their memory, in particular their oral memory, is considered to posses a natural heritage value for the study of agricultural practices in the area and the accompanying entertainment habits.
